![]() initial sketch of an idea for threadless loves throwback. it is titled, "spare parts." head - forbidden planet chest - optimus prime right arm - megaman left arm - lost in space stomach - c3po legs - #5 Anyone digging this idea? Is there a different angle I should take? More artsy, less straightforward? silhouette style?
i created a dirty design with the intent to sell it to tshirthell.com...
DIRTINESS! RATED PG-13 while my mind is obviously this dirty, my designs have stayed pretty pg, so i didn't even post it up here for a couple weeks, but tshirt hell hasn't gotten back to me, so i was wondering if there was another site like tshirthell anyone knows of.
The company I work for is about to move to a new (more spacious) location, and I'd like to buy an office warming gift for everyone.
I am looking for a book, from the 80's, maybe 70's, that details and shows examples of ad agencies work and workflow. Part of this is for the nostalgia of design pre-computer for my boss' sake (that was his own gig before he started his own company). about Color-Coded Criminals
either threadless started selling buttons or someone thinks it's okay to lift art for financial gain:rip-off button
My Threadless Loves Geeks submission is up!
![]() (must comment in this blog and in the submission) BRENTENDO WINS! celandinestern WINS! ![]() All of these beefy men's shirts will be on sale for $10 each, shipping included inside the US (I'll have to figure international shipping rates for everyone outside the US, so if you're interested and you're from elsewhere, let me know and I'll grab some numbers). So you can call dibs now, but they won't be on sale until after the "Guess the Score" winner makes their selection.
A couple questions actually.
answered answered answered :"I got my answer, for anyone else who is interested and runs into this issue. YES. Threadless can print over top of UV inks, but they cannot print UV inks on top of other printed layers." I know I should ask the staff through the general contact, but this late in the game with the submissions for the loves geeks competition due tomorrow, I don't think I'd get an answer in enough time if I went through the staff contacting channels.

![]() indoors, the simulated process print displays just the glasses. outside, the uv reactive ink layer that is hidden under the simulated process print shows off the colors. lycaena = butterfly genus gygax = creator of d&d lan = local area network (computer gaming) larp = live action role playing (foam swordplay in the public park) (had to do my homework to make certain threadless could print simulated process ink over top the uv ink and they confirmed that they are indeed able) Draft 1 for the Loves Geeks comp. Please shove a few critiques my way! ![]() Draft 2: ![]() http://www.threadless.com/critique/53667/pretty_geeky the colors are UV reactive ink, so inside, it's just the glasses, and outside, the butterfly pattern appears. One question though (threadless staff or screen printing masters) can UV reactive ink be printed in simulated process? |
