For me the cry for revolution has meant trying to translate the style I normally reserve for my traditional media (ink, charcoal, oils) into the digital realm. While I am not 100% certain that I can consider it a success, I did enjoy the attempt at expanding my digital horizons.

its already been submitted, and has been pending for a while, so i figured i'd get some thoughts beforehand. i know its similar to "Digital Skyline"... in fact, Skyline was inspired by this one. both were designed as desktops for my office computer. let me know what you think. about Lost A Wheel
As a comicbook nerd, I have to say that this is one of the best shirts I have ever seen. I cannot wait to go into my local comic shop with this shirt on, and watch all the other nerds drool with jealousy.
So, I just launched my first design, and its gotten a pretty positive response. In retrospect, I may have botched the placement (the design is too rectangular to work well in the lower corner), but overall its been a pleasure. Hopefully the rest of my designs get approved soon, so I can have some "Thread-Cred".
Ha... I just made that up. Thread-cred.... ha haa. |
I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
I'm a pretty normal guy, really. I work as a web designer, though I plan on going back to college next fall. I'm engaged to an amazing girl. I read comic books and play with little plastic star wars toys. All in all, very normal.
So that everyone is aware, any shirt that is even a little bit vectory or cartoony is meant as a joke. That's really not my style, and these designs are generally just done to keep my from going insane during board meetings. |
