Please Note:Google's cache has now updated itself since the disaster, so this procedure will most likely no longer work for many entire profiles. You can still submit any URLs you can locate to get the comments back. Also, individual blogs may show up in your search for your profile, or if you know or can locate the title of the old blog, you might be able to find the Google cache of it. There's a better chance that it will not have updated. For example.I'll try to help in any way, just let me know. Original Post: I was pretty sure everyone was aware of the procedure for this issue by now, but since people keep asking, here's what you do if you want to recover an old blog:
Note: Some very recent blogs may not have been spidered by Google yet. If yours isn't there, I'm very sorry. :( And there you go. The dates will all be today, but we can live with that. And the chronological order might be wonky (thanks for the swell word phones). Cry me a river. At least you can get something back. Praise Threadless and Google! Oh, by the way, if you copy the HTML remove all the '<br>' tags as Threadless adds their own for line returns. The easiest way is to paste it into Notepad and do Edit -> Replace, and find <br> and replace it with nothing. Feel free to bump this or link it for the people who continue to panic through the next few days.
