  That's the best way, just make your own promo blog. Preferably from the old site with the old html, so that links work on both sites! Promotion doesn't make a big difference anyway, unless you're one of those artists with a huuuge following;) Also check this, however it might not be so accurate anymore with the new site and stuff.
