I make my money as an English professor, and then spend all of it on Threadless.com. My research interests include medieval literature, Arthurian texts, science fiction, fantasy and female bildungsromans.
I am also an aspirant writer who has just started sending out her work to publishers and who is praying for a nice editor to read it. I write mainly sci-fi and fantasy. In my spare time, I play tennis and practise shukokai karate. I've taken part in a number of karate championships, and hope to make the national team in a few years time.
