I am of couse referring to Walk Instead and Take a Hike (http://www.threadless.com/product/252/Take_A_Hike). Do we really need two shirts with trail map shaped as objects telling us to go outside and walk. Now I know that alot of you are going to say the ascetics are completely differnt and that is pretty much true but do we really need two shirts that say the same exact thing. Not saying that either shirt is a bad shirt it's just that there plenty of other good designs that didn't get printed that had nothing to do with shirts that were printed in the past. Anyway I just had to get that off my chest sorry if I offended anyone (which I'm sure I did).

Oh and if someone wants to explain to me what made Walk Instead signifigantly diffrerent from Take a Hike then let me know.

Why not? I like it. I'd buy it. You don't like it. Don't buy it.

i am with cement shoes.

and they are totally different, take a hike uses the dotted hiking trail and elevation lines, and walk instead uses road and interstate lines. Not to mention color schemes are different. Besides there's like a million robot shirts. let the nature nuts have two.

just be happy that its a good, unfied design which people will enjoy.

The best thing about Take A Walk is it looks like a British map, booyaa! Feeling unusualy patriotic tonight.

you could say the same about all of the anthropormorphic food shirts like "We're Toast" and "Mmm Oranges". I'm not too keen on those ones. At least these two are really well illustrated.

Why do we need more than one shirt? Who cares as long as you don't smell bad, right?

Plus, Take a hike, despite it's title also advocates cycling, while Walk Instead does not. Therefore different.

Also, Take a Hike was a huge seller. Makes good business sense.

Yeah, I sort of agree.
With Fallow It and Take a Hike (my favorite) already printed, did we really need another 'trail/map-in-the-shape-of-___' shirt? I would have said no, I dig a lot of Moss's designs but this one feels repetitive.

er, make that 'Follow It'

I own Follow It, Take a Hike, Take a Walk, and another non threadless shirt with a map showing the depths of a lake. I guess I just really dig maps.

i think it's funny that all the large sizes are all that's left. i suppose those are the people who don't like to walk. but perhaps we should all think of a fat friend and buy them the shirt as a hint. then, when they're all sold out of the large ones, they can reprint small ones and the friend who loses weight can get a new one.

walk instead is superb ... I don't intend to buy it because I am pretty picky about what I wear and I don't want to wear a pair of sneakers on a natural colored tee because I might look a little tree-huggeresque ... but I love the deisgn ... how hilarious is it the way he plays the association game with the word 'walk' all over the tee? that rocks

i bought walk instead and upon receiving it i fell even more in love with it.

i mean, take a hike is cute, but Walk Instead has all these little synonyms for walking all over it. and sneakers are great. and it is my first natural coloured shirt.

well yeah, so i love it. personally, aside from the map-ness, i think after looking at each design, they're very different.

we've had quite a few piratey designs as well as octopus/squids. but besides theme, i'd say the designs have been quite different visually.

I love the earthy shirts. They give us a break fromthe ever-present mobid overtones of most of Threadless shirts. I love morbid stuff, but I take it forever.

Relax people - the designs are really different and will appeal to different tastes. Its funny how quick people are to criticize.
