Hey threadfolks. I guess people are suffering a bit of pac-fatigue and / or this design is just bad... Either way I'm hoping I can rally a few generous scores from you lovely people to push it up towards a more respectable average before the curtain closes on this chap's rotund ass.... Pretty please?
Score this design: "The Program," to help it get printed on Threadless! ![]() So heres one of the ideas I've had for the Love contest in a fairly rough form... Based on the whole cupids arrows thang. The question I have for you fine people is: Should I even bother trying to match up the entry & exit points on the front and back? I like the flow of the front arrows but I have tried to match the back to the front in some instances and it is making the back look a bit lame. Should I just make a nice arrow pattern on the back as well & be done with it?
My first sub in a while is up. This wrist destroyer:
![]() ![]() The whole creating / subbing process felt fresh & exciting after such a a long time on the bleachers so I'm gonna try and keep it up. I hopes you like! PS if anyone can spare a minute: emptees love ![]() Is this easy enough to get for it to be worth finishing? It is one of the most labor intensive illustrations I have done & I am swinging between liking it & wanting to punch it in the throat. ![]() So on Monday around 5pm my son's dog Harley escaped from our yard when the wind blew the gate open. He was only out for 5 minutes before we noticed but in that time someone in a white Nissan 4x4 decided to pick him up & drive off with him. He hasn't been seen since. We've done all the animal shelters, pounds, vets etc, put up signs but unfortunately I think these people have just decided to keep him. Who does that sort of thing? I don't even know why I'm writing this other than to fill in time before my sad kid gets up. Some humans suck. [EDIT] The day I left for Taiwan on bidniz someone came into the store my brother in law works at & told him that they knew where my kids dog was. They also added that he should probably bring some friends. He goes round to this place which winds up being some fucking dirtbag drug dealers and says that he's here to get his dog back. They take him out the back & there he is in a cat cage. Theres about 3 pitbulls in the backyard too.... End result one happy kid & an alive dog. Some humans are actually pretty alright. ![]() about Geekology
Wow cool! Stoked this got selected & printed. It is the perfect tonic to the lame-sauce that is having to start work again on the day of my birthday.... Yep the present queue starts just over there...& make it special, I just turned 200 (or thereabouts). But in all seriousness, thanks Threadless staff, bloggers & voters! You RULE! ![]() Hey Threadlessers my geek sub is up & running. I wanted to do something lighthearted that encapsulated many of the cultural foibles & stereotypes that make up the fabric of geek-dom with a touch of narrative that also served as a homage to the amazing contribution these big-brained individuals make to the world... After spending the last week in Las Vegas I'm thinking they may be humanity's last hope...Long live the geek! Any comments would be greatly appreciated. ![]() OK I think I'm nearly done. I'm going to have to check out the whole copyright deal on the Flux Capacitor (hence it being upside down at the moment - thanks Ste7en). I've left Pi as "Pi" because as a symbol it just didn't work. Thanks heaps for all the awesome suggestions from you guys so far ( I think I covered them all) Any last minute crits or suggestions?
After much procrastination... almost half a year in-fact, my new site is finally up with a bunch of new work... Huzzah!
