Am I the only person who doesn't get this shirt? people are raving about it, and while I'll admit it's eye catching, does it mean anything? I know "art for art's sake" but i just like to know what i'm wearing before i plunk down my $15

It's... a colourful swirly abstract thing. Which on close inspection, contains the word "wham" and the silhouettes of hands.



Usually I'd suggest looking at the original sub for comments from the designer, but it's not linked to on the product page for some reason. Luckily Threadless' search feature let me get to it anyway: here. Apparently the hands are signing M and W for Mid West.

At one point Skipper (the artist) had a blog about all the symbolism in it... apparently that blog is deleted, though. :(
