my boyfriend and i went to chicago this weekend but did more chicago stuff than mishmashing.
we had never been before and wanted to check out as much as possible...

we had a list of a places to go given to me by my boss... a bunch of galleries and local stuff.
the favorites were DVA gallery and rotofugi...
my boss has stuff at both of the places check out his site, he reigns supreme...

after taking the elevator 5 floors down, getting in my car and starting it... i couldn't remember turning my curling iron off. i got out of the car, went back into my apartment building got in the elevator and went back up to my apartment to make sure my curling WAS off.

and it was.

this caused me to be late to work by 1 minute.

SIGHHH....
for the past 2 weeks i've been scrounging to get a portfolio together....
This coming Friday i am visiting SCAD... to kind of check out the school and campus.
i WAS going to bring a portfolio to submit for the application process, but i've given up. the requirement is 20 pieces....... i have maybe 14 that i am 100% pleased with... i started adding lackluster pieces just to meet the requirements which is not a good sign. i'll just wait and submit a portfolio later in the month.

i feel like such a giver-uper, but it's for the best.

is 20 pieces a lot or is it just me???

if anyone wants to see some of my work, let me know - i really need some constructive comments - i've been looking at this stuff for way too long.
