My sister had a baby boy today!!

Sean Anthony was born 7/7/07 at 2:10 pm at 7 lbs. 19.5 in

A lot of sevens today.

She was supposed to be induced on Tuesday, the little booger caught us all by surprise. I've been at the hospital since 5:30 this morning. Blah.

we hope so he also broke our family curse. No boys. I mean none, at least on my dad's side.

I have three sisters, four girl cousins and that's it. He's the only little willie hanging around right now... :P

I have to be careful. I know full well my sister will document every noisy, obnoxious toy I buy and get my future children something ten times worst .

She's so lucky to be first.

Maybe I'll buy two gifts and never put a card on the obnoxious one :)

my brothers and sisters would stuff the car w/ noisey toys after we visited so that we didn't know who exactly gave them to us and couldn't return them

I'm impressed with my mom. She just finished chemo and had a mastectomy less than a month ago... and yes, that is still a wig... she looks f'in great.

I'm so glad to be an aunt. I can spoil him and give him candy and piss his mom off! It will be great!

I pledge... to give him his first sip of beer.

yep. First time. The oldest went first, and its her first kid. First grandchild, first boy in the family.

Yesss, babies are so thweet, you're going to love it! Except for the first few months, because even though they're cute, they're so freaking boring.

I basically ignored my nephew until he was like 18 months old, that's when they stop being potatos, and they can walk/speak jiberish and whatnot, that's the best.

I just want him to smile. I can be amused with baby giggles and drool bubbles for at least a couple of weeks.

Delicate little heads and bodies freak me out a little. I want him to get a little meaty.

Hurray, Auntie Mel! Being an aunt has its advantages, namely, when the baby's diaper gets full, you get to give him back to his mommy and daddy for clean up. Be sure to always have candy on hand, so as soon as his little teeth grown in, you can work on giving them cavities. That's an aunt's duty.

WTF... I can't even imagine.

Though this little guy has trouble waking up to be fed... but once he does, he nurses for two straight hours. We say he binge eats.
