The button hole is on the wrong side. Am I missing something?

Ugh... Look at the folded part at the top on the left. There's a button hole there. Now imagine you unbutton the bottom button. Now a button and a hole are on the same side, and that shouldn't happen!

it could be the seam(sp?) of the other button. ever think of that.

Yep... but if you look at the photo the button must be on the same side as the buttonhole at the top for it to button up at the bottom like like that! Or it could be that it's not a buttonhole at all.. rather the back of the stitching that holds the top button on??

Maybe you could stich up the hole and add a button there. Better still, replace the whole thing with a zip. Or velcro. Maybe.
