I know I should be using contact for customer service questions, but the back and forth questioning would be relatively slow when I could just ping you well knowledged Threadlessians.

When submitting a Flash design template, what are the rules for changing up the template as far as adding additional features, such as:

A color changer.
The ability to cycle through images.

These are things I could easily add myself in Flash, but will they still accept the design template?

That would be helpful to see different colors.

Some people make an animated gif that shows each color every second.

Always helpful to see different colour choices, but make it so the viewer has the option to click, rather than have it cycle of its own accord. I hate it when things move around on my screen without me asking them to. In fact, I hate it so much I've started to deduct marks for it when I score. Liked your last sub, by the way. Nice mood.

Okay, I'm gonna whip up a Flash template with some extra features so you can cycle through shirt designs and I'll offer a public place to get it as well if anyone wants to use it.

Another thing.

I see people post shirt designs where the printed part is in different color schemes and different positions. So then, if the shirt wins, how do they decide which of the color schemes and positions to actually use?

Do they consult the author before printing?
