I think popularity will get you a lot of votes and comments, but thankfully Threadless staff seem able to see beyond that, and evem anonymous designers/non-celebrity bloggers get printed.

I like ISABOA's "no whining" attitude.

Also, you've been a member for two and a half years....subbing things might be a good start.

I've learned that penises and nipples don't go over very well. Neither does an old man reading the kama sutra book to young children. Other things to stay away from are racist images of chinese people, old women staring at old lady graves, and anything done by me basically.

1. Have a good idea
2. Execute it well
3. Accept criticism with modesty
4. Participate in the blogs when you can - it won't do you any harm!
5. Use the critique - it might be frustrating, but give it a go.
6.Get an avatar image. A good one - something arty and mysterious. Something you've made yourself.
7. Don't give up!
8. Do not talk about Fight Club

I'm printed and I've rubbed people including staff up the wrong way plenty of times. But I think we have a mutual respect.
