I could do a sonnet or a series of limericks or haikus or freeform anything really, sestinas, you name it

ok here goes:

A sonnet is a real hard poem to write

The "iamb" is the foot that you must have

With fourteen lines this poem might be my fave

And I won't stop until there is a fight

If not a lit'ral fight perhaps some night

And, Socheata, I hope you like to rave

I think to buy a shirt would be all right

I'd be so cool no one would call me "knave"

So six more lines I still have left to go

But English class last year has taught me well

So how to write a sonnet this I know

And so I hope I do not go to hell

But as I watch this TV football show

I leaned back in my chair and them I fell

rhyme pattern:

I didn't really know how to pronounce "socheata" so I guessed

Wow, that was great although there was a minor spelling error at the end. I never had a guy write me a poem before. *laughs*



As for my name, it's pronounced So-chettah (sounds like cheddar at the end). The first 'a' is silent. Although, if you're female and your name is Socheata, it's pronounced So-chee-tah.
