• yeah i do a lot of freelance for small businesses and individuals and that has significantly beefed up my resume. i've used craigslist over the years to get my freelance, although not sure where you're located or if craigslist is big where you are.

  i agree. i would go heavier on the linework, and use it to add more details, then pick a color palette with more limited colors, maybe like monochromatic, so it doesn't get too busy.
