The thing is that I am awful at adding color. I usually end up ruining the art. I guess it is something to work on...
It took me a minute to figure out what it was. The little birds look like cat heads so I was a bit confused. Try making them look more like birds without sacrificing the music note look. I personally think that if you removed the lyrics that people would have a harder time figuring out what it meant. I like the concept and the art is already a nice style.
Your style is improving but you have to make sure that there is not a design with the same idea, no matter how good yours is (unless it is a contest). Try really making something deep and original. Dig. Find something that is clever but is also your own. I'm sure you could find hundreds of glass half empty/half full iterations out there. But you are talented and I can see you getting printed in the future.
It is not that your designs are bad. Far from it. I have been observing designs that threadless likes and prints for a while now, and I have it down to a science. One thing is that threadless very rarely chooses attention tees, which are shirts that pertain to the person wearing them, like your stop sign design. Second, threadless rarely accepts designs with just text, even if they are cleverly used and placed, like the rabbit hole. Your last design I like and I think is good material for threadless but may need more work. Try submitting it again. Your other's may just may be too random and obscure. Not many people by a shirt that they don't understand. I have no clue what the lobster one means. Keep trying man!
