Ok well I've refined my handbags even more and am pretty sure I'm ready to set up a website of my own as etsy won't work for the new direction.

I've been dredging craigslist looking for a person to build the site and was curious how much is a reasonable price is? The prices I'm seeing are really all over the board and well being unemployed I can't afford a really expensive fee.

it all really depends on how complicated teh site is and if theyre doing teh designing as well.

for instance if I were to do a bare bones site for you i would charge 3-500 depending on teh amount of pages and the price would go up teh more intricate it got/the more you modified it ..

now if you were just asking me to set the thing up and post the pages that you designed maybe 100-150

hrmm that makes sense I guess. I could design the visual components if I knew just what those parts needed were. I could easily design a page in photoshop or illustrator but have no ideas what parts of the page need to be separate files or layers or whatever is needed.

But the site would be similar, if less complicated than threadless itself. Theres lots of extra stuff on threadless's site that I wouldn't need at first but the same basic functions.

Best of luck with the website, it's a fun endeavor that at least isn't as much of a risk than an actual retail place in real life.

Hrmm... I've got a A.A. in Design & a B.A. in Fashion Design. Sucky though that with all those degrees I've only ever had to take 1 computer graphics course. But I've learned alot through working experience. Anyways I'm currently working as an Accessory Designer in LA.

I love my cat. His name is Zelazny and he's just the sweetest kitty ever! He love people... even strangers! He love taking naps where he doesn't belong and being picked up and those little kitty treats with the crunchy outside and squishy inside. He love feather sticks and little catnip mice. He does not like dogs and other cats. He is a big bully and will try to beat them up. He will also meow until you pick him up and give him attention. :D
