design i made for the shirtfight typography contest, but it didnt get picked over there. would it do better here?



btw, i know already from both emptees and shirtfight that the text isnt totally legible. i dont care – im keeping it as is because i have tried other ways of doing it and this is the best way IMO. to me, the overall design is more important than the readability of the text.

Well, the text isn't legible like you said -- and that will be a problem during scoring. You'll get a lot of people going "What's that say?" and then hitting 0.



But if you can fix up the text, it might do well. Try making the letter edges sharper, to better define their shape -- and maybe give them an outline too to help define the letter even more. Any animals coming out of the letter can still pour over the edges and outlines.

and i think you should use 3 letters in every line, so that there wont be any missing in the last line but nice, good luck ;)

unfortunately that doesnt solve the readability issue.. and it makes it a bit too tall.
