hey, ive got ideas, but im not sure how to convert file formats to the .gif or whatever the other one was without losing all the color information...

illustrator and photoshop wont save as .gif or whatever the other file format that is acceptable is, can anyone help?

it may also be called 'compuserve gif' - same same... Pshop definitely does have that option to save as a gif....

in illustrator or photoshop, go file->save for web.

Yup, in save for web, lossy is your friend, you can tailor it all quite nicely by finding a good balance between the lossy and the amount of colors used

also, click the 2-up or 4-up tab on the upper left so you can see the difference mae from the PSD or AI file to the GIF
