lol....I've been like that with plenty of bands. I have enjoyed Spiritualized for years as well...the only full album i have of theirs is a live one from a few years back but it's pretty damned amazing and astronomically atmoshpereic.

I was like that with Radiohead, owning The Bends for years before I bought and obbssesed over OK Computer, went back to The Bends and was even more blown away. It was a battle over which Radiohead album i liked more until I realized recently it's Kid A. It's one of the most cohesive and flowing albums I've ever heard.

i love spiritualized! soo much.
i highly recommend seeing them live, simply amazing.
i first saw them ten or so years ago when they opened for radiohead...

I saw them on the Jools Holland show last week and I actually warmed to them the more the performance went on.

In the live album i have there's a song that's like 7 minutes long where it's just spirals of sounds and it just gets so hypnotic if you let your brain get lost in the ocean of sonic waves, and you start to make your own song within the confusion and a peace comes over you. It's like going through the wavy part of a body of water to find the bottom of the same water is completely calm and peaceful.
