Turbo posting and spamming other peoples submissions asking for votes. It's just not cricket.

I've seen a few folk flag this (problem) up, asking people to stop doing it. And from what I've read it also says in the submissions kit that spamming other designs is bad etiquette.

So if you're thinking about spamming some designs, why not give your head a wobble first. And be safe in the knowledge the community will vote and comment on the designs they choose to. Simples.

I agree. There's got to be a way for Threadless to not allow comments to go through if people include a link.

Also, users should be able to flag spam comments as abusive. If the person spamming gets 3 flags, their account should be suspended.

Good ideas, andyg. And surely with the features the Threadless site now has (it has developed greatly in the years I have been a member) that wouldn't be too hard to implement? (though I do say that without even the merest modicum of technical understanding in such matters).

I guess a Moderator of some sort would be needed to police the spamming 'flags' as it wouldn't really work with 3 flags automatically triggering a suspension.

I think you guys got a point here. In voting, spamming is very annoying. I never spam on voting or critiques, But I'm not sure on asking for help on critiques because it seem OK to request and receive honest feedback... have a nice day guys
