What do you thing looks best free hand or computer designs?

if computer then what product do you recommend

It totaly depends on your style. Even if you do go freehand, you're still going to have to computerise it at some point - for that you need at least Photoshop and getting Illustrator is a good idea too.

Everyone uses adobe illustrator and photoshop etc, I use CoreldDraw12 and swear by it. Check Em all out.

I prefer to freehand on the computer, actually.

Learn both, definitely, and for freehand try out different mediums. Try:

- brushes and ink
- dip-pen and ink
- brushes and gouache
- brushes and acrylics
- straight up pencils
- markers

One of those will click.

always make sure you can atleast do freehand... i think there are alot of artists these days that just dont have the feel of pencil/pen these days... dont jump right into digital.

If you already know this then id say with a tablet and some practice you can get almost exactly what you get from freehand except maybe a sketch look
