This is nice, I like the style and concept. Keep the "so". One thing I would suggest is slightly changing the facial expression: change the eyes a little bit to make him look a little more devious and secretive. But I guess that depends on what the gossip is!

Hahaha!

Yeah about the face. Something more clandestine, furtive looking. A sharing-a-secret-face that's worried about others hearing what's being said. Maybe talking out of the side of his mouth with his eyes looking the other way to see if anybody is listening.

I think the text could be more secretive, smaller, whispered, not loud?

Maybe a hand to the water cooler character to show that he's whispering and a person bending down to get a cup of water is getting an earful?

Anyway, terrific concept whichever way you go with it ;)

Thanks for the thoughts quister. Plus bonus, you prettied up my blog, lol.

I'm going to make some adjustments to the expression probably. I'm not sure about adding in another character. I actually initially drew it with a second character. I had a plant, like an office ficus tree or something, he was talking too beside him.
I dropped it because I thought people would prefer the simplicity of one character. Plus I was having trouble working both things with just 8 colors. Maybe I should just stop worrying about that aspect. Perhaps I'll show that version? I don't know. We'll see what happens.

Just submitted. Went for the even more obvious, and unoriginal name digsy, haha. Don't know that he looks more devious Morkki, but a few of the things I tried had him looking a little meaner than I was going for. Hopefully this works. We'll see I guess ;)
