Yes, that's what I was thinking. If you're gonna ruin your body, you should do it properly, by drinking alcohol or something.

aspertame breaks down into fermald. . .er, fromaldih. . .frog pickling juice. Not much better for you than sugar. plus the phosphates in the soda block the bodies ability to absorb calcium. And the extra carbondioxide in your stomach ca'nt be helping either.

I gave up pop earlier this year, too. For some reason I just don't like the taste of it anymore. Although, I do enjoy the occasional root beer float.
