design i'm working on : the megaphones
Long time no blog. Goodness, 29.85 as my age is frightening.

A friend of mine who I thought I knew better turned out to be quite good at drawing and quite rotten at thinking of things to draw. Consequently we are a team now and are working on an online soap opera like comic and, of course, some threadless designs.

The first will be a series I call the Megaphones, being a depiction of a family - some of which have megaphones for heads. As soon as we get his drawing(s) scanned in we can proceed. It has been tremendous fun working with someone who can draw and who appreciates someone who can write.

I'd like to say the Megaphones are not based on anything in reality but that's not the case. Have you ever been in a restaurant and seen a couple on a date where one person was really loud and the other person soft-spoken? That's the impetus behind the Megaphones.

I hope you will all enjoy them as much as we have enjoyed creating them :)

I suppose the actual design(s) would help inspire commentary. Either that or everyone thinks it's completely daft and is too nice to say so. :)

Thank you! I am debating whether we should submit them chronologically - ie how they meet, the date, the marriage, the baby, the family portrait, etc - or out of order.

"I am boring and smell of bologna." - this is an inside joke I have with minxorjinx. I don't actually smell of bologna and I'm not particularly boring, really. Well, I'm never ever bored. If you are ever bored you have to come to terms with how incredibly short life is and how infinite a number of things there are we can really choose from to do in one lifetime.
