Where to find rad non clothing/girly gifts for a girl?

I'm looking for a place to find a christmas gift for a girl who requested a practical gift that is functional and not clothing. I think i'm looking for something thats a little more artsy than ikea and a little less girly thanu rban outfitters. I've searched all my back issues of juxtapoz and readymade for ads but all i can find is pillows and candles and thats not gonna cut it

I'm think she wants something in like the houswares kinda realm, but nothing to girly or ordinary. As far as I can tell though, such an item does not exist.

tupperware is rad... i think if they had like.... tupperware with skulls on it she would like that. i wonder how hard it is to screenprint on tupperware

She's my best friend with whom I'm mostly platonic with and I have about $70 left in my budget

I've gotten a little into photography lately, and have been working on framed prints for my friends and family. Mostly just little references to in-jokes or special moments we've shared. Takes a little work though.

Homemade practical gifts are way better than store bought practical girts. Especially practical arts and crafts. Customize her a mirror or scrap book or lampshade or anything you can glue stuff to.
