does anyone know why sometimes the clipping path just doesn't work in illustrator? like it'll mask out everything instead of the defined clipping area. i've already made sure that the clipping area shape thing is one united shape. this is dumb.

...if you don't mind a movie where 50% is unnecessary way-too graphic-for-ones-eyes-and-mental-health sex scenes. it's still worth it.

i was thinking, after seeing paranormal activity the other weekend (which i was pretty scared by), how easy it is to alter one's sense of reality (w/o the use of drugs). i had to sleep with the lights on that night because i was scared, only because i had seen a movie that showed...... paranormal activity. it doesn't mean it would suddenly apply to my own life. so why be so affected by it, and act in a manner as if the same things could happen to me?

this is a totally dumb blog, but i was thinking that was pretty interesting. never having done reality-altering drugs, these kinds of experiences are the closest to that state i'll probably ever get.

cue shirtflirt coming in and saying reality is a lie.

for a friend's birthday party, i'm helping to create a slideshow featuring moments of her life. i'll basically be photoshopping her face into supposed occupations and moments in her life she's had, like substitute teacher, nun, fire chief, olympic swimmer, etc.

does anyone else want to help brainstorm some random occupations or scenes that i can photoshop my friend into?

i also need to think of some good empowering music to accompany the slideshow. stuff like total eclipse of the heart, sinatra's "my way", etc.

i can give stps to a random helper? thank you!
