for a friend's birthday party, i'm helping to create a slideshow featuring moments of her life. i'll basically be photoshopping her face into supposed occupations and moments in her life she's had, like substitute teacher, nun, fire chief, olympic swimmer, etc.

does anyone else want to help brainstorm some random occupations or scenes that i can photoshop my friend into?

i also need to think of some good empowering music to accompany the slideshow. stuff like total eclipse of the heart, sinatra's "my way", etc.

i can give stps to a random helper? thank you!

on friday a drunk women lost her footing by the side of the train in boston and fell onto the tracks moments before the train arrived. she got out the ordeal with only minor scratches. crazy!

what's your opinion of this?

i'm planning to do this for several reasons, but there are also reasons that make me not want to do this. it's troublesome.

if i have a new laptop which we think we has a dead harddrive, can i just like... buy a new harddrive, pop it in, and it's good to go? how universal are harddrives for PCs?

i believe mary alice is wearing it at the end of the latest episode, when they go fishing.

after thinking i was finally done with this project, because i sent a nice 1920 x 1080 quicktime movie file to the client, they forwarded me this request from their A/V guys:

The video file we received is not compatible with our "solid state video player device". Please request the file in a video transport stream format with .ts .m2t or .m2ts extension , at a 1080i resolution. This type of file is common in HD Camcorders , HD DVD players and Blue ray Disc players.

what on earth is this format, and am i able to export to it in after effects?

i haven't drawn anything in a few weeks. but i don't know what to draw. any suggestions? this is also a good reminder blog in case i owe someone a drawing and am just dumb in remembering it.
