She is very very lucky considering MBTA drivers are well known to not pay attention (texting while driving, sleeping, on the phone, reading)

there was one not too long ago of a woman who let go of her baby stroller and it rolled in front of the train but somehow it got far enough on the wall away that the baby was unharmed...

TRAIN JOURNEY DISRUPTIONS CAUSED BY DRUNK IDIOT

BOSTON ― Passengers were outraged by delays caused to their journey on Friday night when a drunken woman fell onto the tracks, narrowly avoiding an incoming train by a few inches.

Although she was rescued by other riders, this incident badly affected services for the rest of the evening, with passengers reporting 'unacceptable' periods of delay to their journey home.

"In this day and age, it is ridiculous that we should allow a minor incident like this cause chaos to a supposedly modern transportation network," commented a furious commuter who declined to be named. "Some of us have dinners to eat, television to watch and dogs to walk!"

Station management have apologised and confirm that they will be reviewing procedures to ensure that no further disruptions will be allowed by people who are clearly at fault for drinking so much in the first place.

"We'll do whatever it takes to ensure the services keep running - and will not be stopping our trains for anyone," said the official spokesperson.

The suspect has been arrested and is awaiting a court hearing.

there was also another time where a guy saved a kid by pushing him low to the track floor so he didn't get knocked. not sure if there was a video for that.

If you did that in Chicago you'd be burnt to a crisp. We got 3rd rails.

AGH!! so crazy. it seems like she gets knocked out or is just too dazed to get back up after falling and then snaps out of it once the train stops. Which stops about a foot away from her face. The intensity is heightened to a max, just like a movie.

If you were the guy right next to her. Would you try getting her up and out of the way? What if it was a smaller kid (someone you could more easily move)? I don't know man... probably would be a bad idea, but how guilty would you feel if you stood there and watched the person get killed? Especially with the idea that there was probably enough time to do something about it.
