Claims of Theft Greatly Underexaggerated?

about While you were reading my shirt I took your wallet.

Just so that this whole possible theft deal can get over and done with, back when I was an active member on Threadless which according to my blog was before August '07 I submitted this catchy little ditty:

"While you read this I stole your wallet."

It got a 55% approval and is my highest rated slogan ever and I have kept it since posting. Additionally I had a conversation about someone back in the day about how much they actually liked this particular slogan. I believe mine predates all claims so far so that may be able to end your little feud. However, I have absolutely no idea how to check the submission date of when I put this up so I may in fact be wrong. Since my slogan is near idential to the one on this shirt if someone working at Threadless can tell me the date of my submission that would be pretty cool.

Also if I'm wrong that it can only confirm one thing to me - old age really does set in at 25 years old. I look forward to dementia.

which is where i would tend to agree that more votes should lead to time as well, but he and the other fellow/lady claim to have posted in aug07 and may07... i don't even recall regularly being on Threadless forums around then since that is when I switched my university degrees, let alone have been posting any slogans. that's why all i wanted was a person from threadless to tell me when i posted it. seems fair enough to me

yes but see if i'm write i get one of two things:

1) money
2) everyone else making claims has to shut up

ok i take it back i do like the new camera shirt... i posted about it. i think i just yern for the good old days.... yes i used the word yern... chances are i now waste the rest of my night on contacting old friends instead of studying for my exam. awesome.

i'm not saying that it would be intentional, people have a natural way for subconsciously picking up what they read, but i'm pretty sure mine was the only one like this back when i voted for all the slogans that were up at that time

We looked it up... No need to apologize. Yours was subbed in Jan 06, mine in June 06. Not sure what to say... I swear I had not seen yours before subbing mine, Olly Moss (woss) and I were walking back to my place from a comic shop, when I came up with what I thought was a truly original slogan.
I really feel crappy about this because I understand how you feel shafted and that I look like a slogan thief (which I swear I'm not).

I hope you can take me for my word.

it's cool, i'm over it. it's just a bunch of words that i never expected to result in anything for me anyway
if anything i'm just happy that you guys at Threadless are cool enough to admit that much that i had sent in something near identical first
by not writing me off or saying mine was never there first, it serves to confirm my faith that this is a company that i can truely support and believe in... which i suppose in the world today is all i really wanted.

and hey on the plus side i got to say hello to a couple of people that i haven't talked to in a long time. oh well, i'm off to write a paper and study for two midterms tomorrow.

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.

Finishing up my psych/bio degree at university. Why isn't it in something artistic? I dunno.

What I do know is that everything in my life I've been changing around, mixing up, trying something new. I hope to go out to B.C. after finishing up my degree (but now that's been delayed thanks to suckology) but trying something new is the most important. Went vegetarian little over a year ago too. Y? y not!?!

Creativity comes in spurts. grab hold.
