Yo, now that designing stuff based on popular news stories has become cool, I challenge you all to design something based on any news story anywhere! I'm lazy so there'll be no prizes and I won't be doing one myself, or doing any work to promote the idea, but I'm issuing this challenge unto ye all! I'm not that fussed if you actually do it, perhaps you could think about it, though, and then suggest your stories here.
