I would like to discuss this film here. I just watched it and fucking loved it. Just proves that amazing movies can be made on the cheap.

What set it apart from other time travel films is that rather than trying to explain time travel and avoid paradoxes caused by it, it was practically one big paradox, and yet it worked. How did it all begin?

Hector 1 went into the woods because of the actions of Hector 2, but there would never have been a Hector 2 if Hector 1 hadn't gone into the woods! Loved it!

I'd never heard of it until phones and tesco mentioned it on my movie blog, and then I thought it was a TV series. I'd forgotten about it until I found it at work today. We must have just got it in.

Actually, it wasn't really a a paradox, but a causal loop kind of thing. A caused B and B caused A. Kind of. Thing.

Like if you meet your future self who tells you how to make a time machine and then you make it and use it to go back in time to tell yourself how to make it so that it can be made so that you can go back and tell yourself how to make it so that it can be made...

This movie is mindblowing. Heroes & LOST producers should watch it and learn :P

SPOILER
I think the great idea of the film was making the man travel in time only a few seconds. Thus it's "easier" to control the loop time. Amazing flick.

A few hours you mean?

I don't understand how anyone can find this movie hard to understand. It slowly unravels, everything is revealed and explained, and paradoxical nature aside, nothing at the end is left open to questions, in my opinion.

Funny that. I just watched A Sound Of Thunder which was the same director as Timecop. Fucking terrible.

the funniest thing about timecop was that it was set only a few years in the future, yet everyone's driving round in cars that look like they come from fucking joe 90 or something..

I saw krull on the telly a few months back. And it got me to wondering how these mother get made. Anyway, i watched the end credits and say that it was directed by peter yates, and i was petty sure that if directe bullitt. I checked him out on imdb and it was the same guy. How do you go from bullitt to krull? I think if directed summer holiday too. And i was born in the same town as him; cut that's neither here nor there

Primer is also ace. I liked Time Crimes more though cos it was straightforward and simple, but still kind of a headfuck.
