well ... how weird snow on thanksgiving is or not sorta depends on where y'all live..... If it snows in SanDiego for example I'll be AMAZED.... and annoyed.
however that said... they think about climate change is that it is not as simple as saying "it will be warmer EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME"...... the average trend will be for higher mean temps.... however since the climate in general is a highly complex interconnected system small changes in one point can cause large changes in another location....
The reality would seem to be that the globe will experience more extreme climatic condidtions.... (some areas will recieve snow at unusual times) the hurricans this year are another sign that something may well be up with the climate.
Snow on Thanksgiving in Minnesota would not be incredible. It snowed and was fucking freezing for a while but now temps are up and the snow melted. I predict an awesome winter this year, though, since last years was so wimpy.
I wish it snowed here. I love skiing but the closest snowfields are about a 16 hour drive away. I didn't see snow until I was about 14 and went to France.
