A Question For Staffell - Brighton University

Quick question for staffell if you're here, im doing ucas at the mo, thinking about applying to brighton to do english - i remember you saying thats what you did so i was just wondering what branch if english you did and how you found it, cheers in advance.

yo i'm here, I went to Sussex (Brighton doesn't do English as far as I remember) - it was English Language as well..are you applying to do Lit?

oh yeah, it was good fun, just make sure you don't take a linguistic heavy route ...which is the mistake i made

ahh i see, yeah im applying to do english, brighton does language & literature as well as language and journalism and some others i think - they may have only recently introduced it tho, i figured doing something more broad will keep more options open etc, anyway thanks for that, ill make sure i steer clear of the linguistics!
