What amazed me about Threadless when I first arrived was the incredible sense of aesthetics showed by designers through placement, color, and other various individual traits of a design.
Recently (breaking news flash!) there's been a slight increase in cartoony shirts that are just as desirable because of their humor but can work off of a t-shirt as well because they don't involve the structure of the T-shirt, and don't utilize the shirt medium to enhance the beauty.

When Sun Lion was printed, it reminded me of the first reason I loved Threadless. It's an illustration in essence, but it just works so damn well on the shirt. And I know it's gonna get hated on for the colors, but that just makes the thin lines more noticeable. Big ups to everybody for putting the manpower in to print this bad boy, and please save me one in Guy Medium.
