Gerald Ford

Would a in memoriam sub for Gerald Ford be in good taste? I have the drawing done...but I'm not sure if I should sub it if the masses will give me harshcredit.

"in memoriam" is pretty broad.

I'm willing to bet that most people wouldn't wear something with Gerald Ford on it, though, whether it's in memoriam or not..

are you going to mention the fact that he was the only president never elected?

well he was certainly better than some of the presidents we have elected. twice.

the format is a picture of pres. ford, with "R O C K" tattooed on his knuckles, smoking a corn-pipe. its done in pointillism, sorta like that one recennt print of the two hands havin sex.

agree with shirtflirt - if you want to submit it, submit it. If they don't like it, fuck em. Personally, I would be way more likely to wear a James Brown in memoriam t-shirt than a Gerald Ford one, but that's just me ... oh, and lots of other people.

Dude, submit it. Submit one praising Bush if that's what you believe. It's one thing to create something specifically designed to offend people. It's another to not even submit something because you THINK it will offend people. Submit it and let the chips fall where they may. What, you think everyone is going to come to your house and beat you up?

how about a picture of Ford ascending up to Heaven and and Chevy Chase standing on the ground saying, "Well, there goes my career... AGAIN!"

Noone has ever beaten anyone up over Gerald Ford. The week before he died, he was a relatively inconsequential figure in American politics ... he will return to being so a few weeks after he's buried. Submit it, most people here are too young to care anyway.
