In my office we sometimes call Canada "North America", with the emphasis on North. I really like the tee and plan to get it during the next sale.

Calling us "North America" is not only geographically incorrect, it is a gross underestimate of the uniqueness of Canadian culture....eh.

I just read an essay today for my comp 110 class about how everyone outside of america thinks that we're all igonrant and bullies.

they go into more detail. but that's basically all I got from it, as my eyeballs were going to fall out of my head while reading it.

Don't get me wrong, I like the U.S., just not the ultra-conservative, priveledged, so-called "people's representatives" that have had a monopoly on the 2 party electoral system. A wide spectrum of opinion hardly exists in Congress, just a limited debate among bourgeois about their bourgeios political economy. Free the electorate!

Kind of an ironic shirt considering what happened today in Montreal. Not sure if I can buy this now.

If you watch 'Bowling For Columbine', you can really see the point this shirt makes. Of course that movie wasn't emphasizing how safe and perfect Canada is. He was primarily trying to get across how strangely prone to gun violence Americans are compared to the rest of the world.
