not one of those useless 4x6 abominations...

i havea 9x12 by virtue of ebay. it's just an old intuos, the offwhite color, before they came out with intuos 2 and 3 and 15 or whatever they're on now. i paid about 1/3 or 1/4 its original retail price, and it still works beautifully.

it is very big though. i think the 6x8 may be the perfect compromise, really, unless you have a HUGE monitor and need to do something super-large-scale.

crap - the 4x5 and 4x6 things suck, huh? of course they are the cheapest!!

i have a 4x5 and it works PERFECTO. Definitely not too big, you don't really need something huge to get detail. It's all in the wrist baby.

The one I had at work was something between A4 and A3, huge, should've nicked it when the company folded. No use leaving good stuff behind, damn it.
