I've quit my job at a studio, and came back a month later. I know what you mean...there's reasons why I quit, and when I came back, it felt like I was disrespecting myself.



Each situation is different, but I know where you're coming from.

My advice, like always, trust your gut!

i hate working there but i'm flat broke and i might get kicked outta my home. i really need a decent job.

Just be hones with the managers. Tell them stuff you like about the place, and shit that you can't stand. I'm sure they don't want their employees to be miserable.

Okay I'm going to quit my job and we can become roommates and we can live a sitcom.

Naturally, if you have another job offer or can survive without working, then go somewhere else or quit. But if this is really your best option, I'd say stick with it.

Personally, your behavior sounds sort of childish to me. It's clear your manager is a bit of an asshole, but this must have been evident to you beforehand. If you make mistakes with an asshole manager...they do what they do best...act an asshole! But unless you get fired, just take whatever they say or do with a grain of salt. Clearly not having your nametag on is not a 'heinous' crime...anyone who elevates it to that status is just being silly.

Suck it up and keep working there. You're not the bad person, your manager is. And while you're the one who has to deal with it, you sometimes just gotta deal with situations that stink. Goodluck!
