i *might* have a date with a girl...please advise

so there's this girl at the bookshop that i really really like- she's petite, short blonde hair and cute as a button. she's also really funny and ...er....warm?? i don't know a great deal about her other than i like her profusely.

so anyway my brother asked her out for me today (against my will!) and he said she seemed really up for it and wants me to talk to her and see where it goes.

from what my bro found out she is perfect for me- similar age, single and really friendly.

BUT

i haven;t dated anyone for ages (years even!)

i'm so terrified.

is it worth talking to this girl or should i just leave it??

(bear in mind that she must be lightyears outta my league)

i have very very low self esteem and i have social anxiety so its not just me being difficult it's real terror lol
