American versions= eXtreme!

maybe the UK/Europeans need to be convinced that it's not just a game and more of a cultured éxperience... I'll admit I'd be suckered into picking up a box if it had the same class as Ico did, regardless of what it's about. At least they dont alter the actual content of the games... or do they? There is that persistent rumour that Japanese games are harder. And my version of Metal Gear 2 features 'European Extreme' as a difficulty level.

the one that caught my eye was Resident Evil. the british box looks so much more stylish and gives you faith that the whole thing has been artfully created. the US version looks like just another video game.

the loss of that beautiful ICO artwork from the Japanese and UK version of the game is a tragedy.

i agree with phones about the US eXtreme! mentality...why do they always think we want everything to look like a Mountain Dew commercial in order to want to purchase it.
