One of my ancient credit cards, that I've not used in years, was recently taken over by Barcley-fucking-Card. Got my new card, and put it away, as I would never use it. Didn't activate said card, just stuck it in a drawer. Fast forward to yesterday, and I get a statement to say my current ballance was £2630.84. It seems someone in Span just kept taking out large amounts of money, over a two day period, until my limit was reached. Bastards! I'm more annoyed at the credit card company for letting this happen. How can a card that's not activated be used for almost £3K in another country over two days? How? Arseholes.

I am completely addicted to Bookmooch.com. For those who have not heard of it, it is an internation book exchange. Swap all your old books for new and exciting ones. Spread the word, all the cool kids are doing it.

Anyone had an Apisectomy? I have an abscess on the root of my tooth, but can’t have root canal/root treatment due to extensive dental work (I have a bridge that cannot be removed). I think they need to cut a flap in my gum, and go straight into the root of the tooth that way. Has anyone had this done? Are any of you dentists/dental technicians?

I'm not sure what this is, but I felt the need to share.

I'm not sure what to do. I lost my wallet on Sunday night (I left it in a resturuant). I figured that was where it was and was just about to call them when they called me. They managed to track me down through my library card! I am really thrilled, but I'm not sure what i should do to say thank you. I know there is a rule about 10% of what was in the wallet as a reward, but there is very little money in it (I had less than £10). What should I do? Would a box of chocolates be an appropriate thank you? I'm no good at these things.

If you think about a week, month or year, how do you see it. Does it have a shape or colour?

I see a week as an oval shape, and the days of the week are different colours. I see a year as a time line, with the months running from left to right (again different colours). The next year starts again on the left in January.

Do any of you picture things like this? Is it just me?
