If this is just a teaser for a commercial that's running during the Super Bowl, I will punch them right in the spleen.

I once heard that Ferris Bueller was really Cameron's Tyler Durden.

Think about it.
d3d
   d3d on Jan 27 '12 at 12:53am
you mean Tyler Durden is Edward Norton's Ferris.

I think he means Matthew Broderick is Tyler Durden's Haley Joel Osment

Haley Joel Osment is Bruce Willis' Macauley Culkin.

hahahaha to just above here^

I actually think the entire 80's was an incepted dream taking place in the head of the baby from Look Who's Talking.

Aw maaaaan, Ferris looks so old and hoarse now. It's weird we exist in such an recycled entertainment climate that I don't even know any more if this is a supremely horrible idea or the best thing I've ever heard, lol.

Hopefully it'll be better than the weaze-bucket of a reprise for Family Vacation that some company put out two Super Bowl's ago. Haha company that funded this long unfunny skit, your expensive rouse to cling to my memory banks did not work!

One thing's for sure, I will put aside my personal feelings of Ben Stein post-"Win Ben Stein's Money" for as long as a possible appearance in this flickmercial may be- and honestly, why the fuck wouldn't he?

It'll apparently just be a commercial for Honda. They'll be shooting some familiar scenes from the movie, except instead of a Ferrari, they're using some new Honda model.

Lame. He's not even Ferris, just himself.

And as if anyone's going to believe Matthew Broderick is shooting a movie.

I thought it was a good commercial, but then I heard about all this late and never thought it wasn't a commercial. If I had thought it was a movie, I'd be like you Leon.

Hey, what if we re-made Ferris Bueller's Day Off as a two-minute ad? What if, instead of playing the character, it was just Matthew Broderick being himself? What if we referenced all the things Ferris does in the original, but made them more lame? What if, instead of a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT, we had him driving a Honda CR-V?

BEST IDEA EVERRRR
d3d
   d3d on Jan 30 '12 at 7:14pm
it would've been fine if they hadn't teased it. might have been an amusing ad. instead it's just a huge disappointment.
