Last night we had a crazy electrical storm and as one especially big lightning bolt struck there was a loud pop and my screen went black. Turns out the only thing effected was my pc, which is now dead as chivalry. I took it to have the power supply replaced since that's usually the problem and a relatively cheap fix, but no, it remains dead. Looks like I'm getting a new motherboard at least, and possibly an imagination Christmas.
