I was wearing this in a commercial

about Sailing The High Trees

So I'm an actor and recently, I got the chance to be on a local commercial. They asked me to bring some wardrobe changes, but keep it to a normal teenage-boy look. The director of the commercial ended up liking this shirt the best, so now whenever I see myself on TV, I'm reminded of Threadless and Sailing the High Trees.

Thought I'd share. =)

Sorry the video is taking so long. My camera recently broke since...my friend kind of ran into the ocean with it.

Now, I know it's a pretty lame commercial. And the quality of the video is horrible, since it's gone from my tv to my camera to my computer and then finally youtube. And you can't see my eyes (not my fault! they made me pull it in front of my eyes). But anyways, I hope you guys liked it. =)

Nah, really my voice. It changes a little whenever I'm acting, but for the most part it's what i sound like.

I love my hair. But I gotta get it cut. My agent does not love my hair.

Sweet grrraaaceee! Virginia Beach is the best! Hall Automotive is not the best though, because they feel like they have to replay that commercial about 100 times a day. Even I've gotten a little annoyed with it. But it's better than that one with the couple in the car saying "You got a great deal on this car." with an absolute monotone, right? haha

@Tonteau, I actually can't drive yet. I get my learner's permit in September, but I'll probably learn on the side during the summer.

@Stubby43, that commercial is actually my first film credit. I've gotten other auditions for big things (A Haunting on Discovery Channel, Kill Pit on Spike TV, John Adams on HBO) but I didn't get booked. My main acting credits come from theater. I started acting last year at my middle school and continued this year in my high school's Theater Company. On top of that, I take acting lessons and have a performance after each 12-week session of lessons.

@ Stubby42: Yeah, I wish i could describe myself in more depth, but that's how they like the resumes to be. I've actually gotta update mine soon. It includes none of my new stuff right now. Hopefully some new headshots this year too. I'm thinking of cutting my hair off by summer.

It's been 5 months since that commercial was filmed. And still, it comes on TV at least 8-12 times a day. hah I think I go a little more insane with each showing of it.

Steve and bananza, it's super cool. I tried that once in the shoot. Didn't work as planned. "Is this SUPER cool or what?" Not the same flow, I guess.
