Threadless

i requested this reprint and sat at the edge of my seat and waited for this day... and here it is... and my oh my how disappointed i am..

when people request reprints, it is my opinion that they want the same exact shirt, with the artist's original colours (an integral part of the original design, i venture to say) as the one they were so enamoured with to begin with, but were too slow to grab up before it sold out....

i understand that this shirt was several times reprinted... and maybe variety is good, but i don't think it's called for here. if you threadless folks decide whether or not to reprint something based on reprint requests, are you not risking being totally off and underselling when you change the design in this way?

maybe i'm being inflexible, or holding onto the past... but the result here is my case in point - I REQUESTED THIS REPRINT... BUT DUE TO THE COLOUR CHANGE, I WILL NOT PURCHASE IT.

naively though, i will again await another reprint in the original colours...

It probably was good at the time but you can go to almost any company and find something very similar to the design.

not to be a complete dick (i actually like the colors and am debating buying it), you do realize the reprint of ctrl+z you bought was changed? The original was grey and now its red. That made me not buy that shirt as a reprint, so it all works out for them in the end.

Well thankfully you'll only have to wait about two weeks until it gets reprinted again!

Honestly I think you are spoiled, you've waited patiently for this shirt to be reprinted? But what about the poor people that had to wait Three Weeks to see it reprinted! The real crime has been comited against those people.

Ooops. I said 'those people' now I'm being racist against people who wait for reprints. Reprintist.

I'm just sick of it. At first I thought it was sort of interesting, but nowit's been reprinted, ripped-off-of, and blogged about 100000 times...

here's a thought: if you don't want it, don't get it. just please stop bitching about it.

here's a thought: if you don't want to read people bitching about it, don't read a thread about FITA, because every single blog degrades into people complaining about the reprint.

i'm not complaining about the reprint myself, i don't care since i'm not going to get it. i just don't think it's necessary for everyone to beg for, then bemoan the reprint of FITA.

I know you aren't complaining about anything more then people complaining. But people like to express their opinion, it makes them feel better. Don't worry about em.
