just a conceptual question:

if yes is up, and no is down, wouldn't maybe be up and down instead of side to side?

Interesting point bsweber. I never thought about it like that. I just thought of it like the "maybe" was undecided which direction to go so he was just going back and forth. but I'm going to have to give this some thought now.

yeah thanks, i just dont know if i can envision the up/down arrows working for the "maybe" in terms of how its layed out.

I really like this as is. That said, have you tried traffic light colours for the three things? yes green, no red, orange maybe? but perhaps that would be a bit obvious.

The way you've made the Y, N, A and Y slot together is sweet.

Thanks guys, yeah I tried the traffic light colours but it just didn't look as good imo.
