Well, it had to happen soon or later. Personally, I'm amazed it hasn't happened before now.

I've broken a bone! A difference of opinion between my foot and that of a 26-stone friend of mine during a game of football has resulted in an avulsion fracture of my right tarsal. At least, I think that's what they said.

I have crutches and everything.

I've never broken a bone in my body. You are almost exactly three years my senior though, so I guess I'll have to watch out in the future.

Ouch! Man you ought to quit sports. I've never broken a bone or sprained anything while having a drink, so I recommend you a new hobby.
