Not Obvious Enough?

Yeah, it's a little different but that's why I think it's interesting. It's based on a Pacific Northwest folk tale. Thoughts?

I like it, although it could be better designed. I like the patterns in the salmonberry and the botton part of the owl, but being right next to eachother they awkwardly contrast the top part of the owl.

On the dark shirt, the top part of the owl, the light area, would probably stand out too much.
