All the survivors of Flight 815 and also Desmond, were members of the Dharma initiative. They weren't original members, but became ones after they went back in time after saving the universe. Members of the initiative had to have people to stop the universe from ending and to stop any more alternate universes being created which would in turn end the universe as we know it. So they put all the pawns in place to make it so that several of their own members would be people from the future who would travel back to the past to make all this happen.

I am now completely of the opinion that the purge is a split in the space time continuum that means there are two parallel universes running simultaneouls alongside each other.

I've only read two Lost spoilers. I read an early spoiler for the season three finale, and it was spot on. Then the same source came up with a spoiler for the whole show, so I had to read it. Forgotten a lot of it though.

Her father? Sawyer someone else?

Also, she expresses disgust when Jack says "I thought you'd be at the funeral," so the person in the coffin is someone who she doesn't like..

@Khol - I assumed that bracelet was just the same one Sayid took from Naomi's wrist, and gave it to Elsa at some point in their relationship, but I suppose your explanation is equally as plausible
