Things I won't miss at all:

-everybody and their grandma smoking cigarettes EVERYWHERE
-My stupid internet going down every other weekend all weekend long (I am using a friends internet right now)
-not being able to understand and/or converse with pretty much anyone

Starting on Monday June 23, I am going to attempt to communicate with people on the blogs for an entire week using nothing but smily links that link to pictures of faces. No words. Only smilies and html links to faces.
If I change my mind for some reason and end up thinking it is a pretty retarded idea before Monday I will probably delete this. . .

These are some of the most fucked up creatures I have EVER heard about. . .

Watutsi cattle, native to Kenya:


the Pitohui, the world's only poisonous bird, discovered in Paua New Guinea.
Its skin, feathers, beak and claws are toxic:


Leucochloridium paradoxum, a parasitic maggot.
The eggs are stored within bird faeces. The snails eat the faeces and are infected. The parasites hatch and slowly eat the snail from within, keeping it alive as long as possible. Slowly they tunnel to the brain and affect the behaviour of the snail. the snail crawls about in day back and forth across the leaf. By this time the maggots are in the antennal eyes with only a thin film of skin separating them. They squirm back and forth creating attraction.
This is possibly the worst thing that can happen to an animal.




The spores of the Cordyceps fungi in the Amazon are meat eating and parasitic. They target mostly ants.
The ants grow a fuzz they cannot get rid off and that drives them insane,
it slowly consumes them and kills them. From their collapsed body, grows a 'flowering' stalk.
Now this is the creepy bit- the stalk changes form with different species:
